Adding Farming Emissions on a Concentrated Pool
After creating a concentrated pool, pool creators can add token emissions to incentivize liquidity providers. Token emissions can be added at any time, but only the wallet that created the pool has the authority to do so.
Creating a Farm
Immediate Emission Setup
Pool creators can add token emissions right after creating a concentrated pool. Simply click “Create Farm” in the pop-up window.
If emissions are to be added later, connect your wallet and click ‘Create’ in the upper-right corner of the Liquidity page.
Select the Pool
Concentrated pools created by your wallet address will be listed automatically in the dropdown menu.
Setting Up Rewards and Duration
Rewards:
Choose the reward token and the amount to be emitted from the farm. Pool creators can select up to 2 reward tokens.
The first reward token can be any SPL token, while at least one must be from the pool’s token pair. For instance, if the pool is for xSOL-USDH, one reward can be any SPL token, but the other must be either xSOL or USDH.
Duration and Start Time:
Choose the duration for the farming period, which must be between 7 and 90 days.
Set the date and time for when the farming should begin. Pay close attention to the start time, as this cannot be adjusted after the farm is created.
Newly created farms will typically appear in the UI approximately 5 minutes after creation, depending on the network status. Farms will display an 'Upcoming' tag before the start of rewards.
Important: Rewards allocated to farms are final and cannot be withdrawn once the farm is created.
Review and Confirm
Confirmation:
After finalizing all farm settings, click “Review Farm.”
Verify that the rewards, duration, and start time are correct, as these cannot be changed post-creation. Then click 'Create Farm'.
Your farm should be live in the UI shortly after, and you can check the 'Show Created' tab to view your farms.
Extending or Adjusting Farming Rewards
Manage Rewards: You can view and manage rewards from the Portfolio page under "My Created Farms."
Edit Farm: If you want to extend emissions or adjust rewards, click the ‘Edit Farm’ button.
Note: Rewards allocated to farms are final and cannot be withdrawn once the farm is created. Adjustments to rewards must adhere to the following conditions:
Extending Rewards (Same Emission Rate): You can add additional rewards to the farm 72 hours before the current period ends, keeping the emissions rate constant while extending the duration.
Adjusting Rewards (Changing Emission Rate): To increase or decrease the emissions rate, you must wait until the current period ends before initiating a new period and adjusting the rewards amount.
Adding Additional Reward Tokens: You can add up to a maximum of 2 reward tokens at any time, with each token potentially having a different rewards period.
